When Ase first saw Buugeng in 2007 at Firedrums, he was instantly hooked. After shelling out a good amount for this hand crafted tool Ase began to explore the many depths that is Buugeng. While his double staff practice has helped a lot, the buugeng is in every definition, it’s own unique prop.
Brief History of The Buugeng:
A fellow by the name of Dai Zaobab was the originator of the prop called “Buugeng” with translation means Buu means martial, and geng means flow so put that together and you have Martial Flow, which really represents the movement and style of this prop. He was inspired by Micheal Moschen’s prop called curves.
